the switch is of type unmanaged = you cannot change its configuration

if it does not work in your home LAN I'm afraid there are no other options to try to use another one
Edit:
SG110-24HP: 24 RJ-45 connectors for 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T ports with 2 combo mini-GBIC slots
Check that the combo port has only the SFP connected to the fibers and that the RJ45 port is not connected to anything in this way the switch should understand to use the SFP and the fiber pair.
if you have this model:
SF110D-08: 8 RJ-45 connectors for 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX
there are no fiber ports on it.
