Have a query regarding switch stacks, if a stack member is temporarily removed from the stack and then a change made on another member what happens when it's plugged back in?

Hello Ben,

All configuration is saved on the master, what a switch is added to the stack it will sync its configuration with the master switch. This means if you have a 3 switch stack and remove switch 3, the switch that is removed will have the same configuration as it did before. However, while it is removed if you make any changes, obviously the switch that is removed will not get these updates. Once it is added back, the master switch will push down the configuration again and all 3 switches will have the same configuration.

Hope that helps!
