Hi All ,
I have 2 separate networks each with Core switches , say network 10 and network 192 and wish to connect the 2 networks and also the relevant vlans with 2 cables running from one to the other for a little bit of resilience but it isn't that pressing to have any fault tolerance.
Network 10 is running VTP, So just wondering what is the best method and practices to attain this.
thanks

Just let me check this point I will update you tonight.
My concern is root for both stp mode.
But can you use router port instead of SVI to solve any issue of l2 stp.
Router port is config with no switchport under any l2 port. Please confirm if you can.
Thanks

Hi I have done it they way you guys have said and that has worked , i can ping the networks , so technically now i should have access to all the vlans from sw1 to sw2 and sw2 to sw1 right?

Happy news
Now you need static route only.
If you config it then all work right.
Thanks
