Real - time secnario
Problem - a cisco 3750 stack is connected to 6509-E core swtich. Data Vlan and Voice Vlan is configured on both the switches. physical connections are connected from switch ----> Nortel IP phone ----> PC.
issue - the Voice vlan is configured with 10.10.20.0/24 and DHCP is enabled. some of the IP addres from the subnet are notworking.
example - 10.10.20.1 - working fine
10.10.20.2 - working fine
10.10.20.3 - is not working. take it as a random number
10.10.20.4 , 10.10.20.77, 10.10.20.106, 10.10.20.30 not working ......
if i change the phone with the same IP address not working ,,,, i tried on each and every port on the 3750 swtich ... still these ip address are not working.
i did check the Mac Address.. they seems to be fine. i tested them from the core. checked all ARP and mac address table. i can see the correct mac address to the revelent ip address.
could any one suggest a troubleshooting secnario to test the IP address ... and solve this problem
