Hi
Need advice , I am to run OSPF between two different locations
But now they have decided to place another switch in between the two end points participating in OSPF
How can this be achieved without upsetting my OSPF config ?
Thank you

A L2 switch? If so, it should be "invisible" to the two OSPF devices. However, you might want to adjust your keep alive timers.

Hi
Ok .
My topolgy is as follows
4506 -------------------- 6500 ( access switch) ---------------- 4506
I need to run ospf between the 4506 switches
So will it be ok to the run the links either side of the 6500 as dot1.q trunk links ?

On the 4506s, set the ports to routed. On the 6500's set the ports to access (same VLAN for both).
