TDR command output

umeshunited
Level 1
Level 1

I executed "tdr cable-diag interface gi1/0/2" on my 3850 switch.

Output is as mentioned below. Access point is connected to that port and it's negotiating 100M with switchport.

Other AP negotiating 1g with switch. Does this output mean pair D is faulty ?

Interface Speed  Local pair   Pair       length        Remote pair     Pair status
--------- ----- ---------- ------------------ ----------- --------------------
Gi1/0/2 100M       Pair A     0       +/- 1 meters      N/A               Normal
                            Pair B      0       +/- 1 meters     N/A                Normal
                            Pair C      0       +/- 1 meters     N/A                Normal
                            Pair D     39      +/- 1 meters    N/A                Open

Hi,

Yes that means pin is not connected properly. You need to crimp cable again.
