Hi, we have 4507R+E at the distribution layer. Since last 6 months, we are facing a "temperature warnings" in some of our modules including the supervisor modules, the switches are placed at normal room temperature with ACs provided for cooling. Whenever the warning comes, we take out the module, clean it with a blower, and the warning disappears. But after a few days the warning appears again. What could be causing this.

The output of "show environment "  of one such switch is attached here for your reference.

What could be the exact reason of this problem.

Thanks

Hi all

could you explain to me what the names here - XPP , NFE , VFE .... - mean ? CPU , AIR in / outlet is already clear .
And which value is to compare with a non- modular Switch ?
In Nagios what value should I take to see the correct Temperature .

Thank you All .
