Time Stamp not displaying over SSH connection in Packet Tracer?

Nermin

I set up a simple SSH connection to a switch in Packet Tracer. I configured the logging to have time stamp with ( service timestamp log datetime). When i am on the switch console i can see the time stamp. But when i connect to it from another device with SSH connection, the logging will not display time stamp in SSH terminal? Is this a bug in Packet Tracer or am i doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Nermin

Hi @Nermin

When you are logged through a Console connection the logging is enabled by default but when you connect through a network connection the logging is not enable by default. You need to use the command "terminal monitor" in order to force the logging.
