I am trying to turn off snmp trap linkup linkdn statement on an individual cisco 3750 switch interface. I want to keep the global command active. How do i turn off just a single interface for this trap? It keeps poping up in HP openview as an alarm.

Thanks for the reply - I used that command on the dozen interface that I did not want a t
rap to be send out on. There still showing up - not sure what else I need to do.

That command should do it. You may be facing a configuration issue at the HP OV side or a bug on the IOS.
I recommend opening a TAC case for further troubleshooting.
