Is there such a thing as too many broadcasts? I have a Cisco 2960-24TT-L switch with two devices that need to exchange about 90Mbps in broadcast traffic (each device sends roughly 48,000 235-byte broadcast frames each second). It seems like the broadcasts make it into the switch, but some of them are dropped before they exit the switch. The switch is in a factory state.

Check Spanning Tree
What other Devices are connected to that switch monitor that devices too.

Currently, the switch has nothing else connected. I have disabled Spanning Tree, LLDP, CDP, and storm control just to make sure. On paper it seems like it should be able to handle this load, but now I am wondering if it is overloaded.
