Traffic shaping on Cisco 3750

Hi All

I have a host server A connected to a gig switch port (switchport) on a 3750. I would like to transfer huge files from that server A to another server B located at another site. In order not to overwhelm our WAN link I'd like to rate-limit (shape) the bandwidth used for the file transfer to server B. Server A also "talks" to other servers and I want the rate-limit (shaping) applied only to communication with server B and not to the other servers.

How best can I implement this.

Thans in advance.

This document has some good examples.

It's basically MQC on a 3750: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps5023/products_tech_note09186a0080883f9e.shtml

Create an ACL to match traffic from server A to B, create a class map that matches the ACL, create a policy map referencing the class and applying a policer to shape the traffic, then apply the policy to the switchport that server A is connected to on the inbound direction.
