Traffic slowing between 4500 VSS boxes

Hi,

Since our VSS implementation on 4500s (using 4 Gbps VSL), we start receiving complaints about network performance.

We investigate and investigate, executed some traffic measures in differents points of the network, and now we face a conclusion:

When traffic has to cross the vss boxes, it goes extremelly slow.

We called some JDSU experts and they proof it. Traffic is limited to 200 Mbps.

Someone has a clue on how we can solve it?

Hi,

Not sure why the traffic is limited to 200Mbps, but I am wondering why do you have so much traffic going across the VSL link. VLS link is usually for central plane traffic  i.e UDLD, CDP, etc...

What is your design look like?
