tranceiver modules compatibility

Our Cisco 10GBase Xenpak module is faulty. Can I reaplce it with x2-10GB-LR - Are they compatible?

Please find below the transciever compatibility matrix.A link bteween the two links will come up only if transciever on both ends are compatible.

The possible ways to connect the transceiver modules.

How can I find out whether the module is a xenpak? I looked on the net and the module look like a xenpak, like this one:

but when i check the module info, i get different info:

Hi,

The transciever module is 10Gbase-LR .The other side of the transciever should be also 10Gbase-LR  for the link to come up.
