Troubleshoting a multicast problem with devices on same subnet

7609 with a 720 sup engine. After a recent router hardware failure I am having problems getting multicast to work between devices on the same vlan on the same switch blade.  While the same source device and stream to numerous other devices on remote subnets.

Please tell me what I am missing.  Some default setting different?

Minor IOS version changes when hardware was replaced. Old configs applied successfully to restore traffic.

post your multicast config for review.

Is it possible you have  'igmp snooping' enabled on the vlan now  and not before .

Note -- if you disable snooping -- multicast traffic will flood to every device in vlan whether they want it or not.

Excellent advice Rob.  I made the change and the issue appears to be resolved.  Looks like i need to hit the books dust of my engineering hat.
