Trunk help - Crossover or straight-through?

I have just trunk a Cisco 3560 with a 3550, but I have used a straight-through cable, should I but using a crossover?

Well one way to test it, show interface trunk, does it come up?

It used to be that you had to use cross over cables for switch to switch connections, but now the switches support the auto-mdix feature which basically lets you use either a straight thru or crossover cable, and the switch will adjust the internals to work accordingly.

So you should be fine with straight thru!
