we have one POC for dell VXrail. single brocade VDX 6740 is the switch for VXRAIL. four nodes for VXRAIL.
vlans for vxrail has configured in VDX 6740.
management vlan - 70
vsan vlan - 120
vmotion vlan - 130
VM network - 140
The management VLAN is alreay in production and is available in cisco 4500 core switch. 172.17.70.1 is the default gateway for that vlan and its SVI. there is only one single connection between brocade vdx and cisco 4500.Both side configured trunk and all vlans are allowed on both sides.
I can ping hosts in 70 VLAN between each other in brocade switch. similarly host in cisco switch can ping 70 vlan hosts between each other.
but cannot ping between host in brocade and host in cisco in the same vlan 70. Is this STP issue? im very new to brocade switch. Why the traffic is not passing through between the switch?
spanning tree shutdown is showing at brocade side. what is the best to configure on both side?

Hello,
what STP mode are you running ? Cisco by default runs its proprietary PVST+...
Either way, make sure the native VLANs match. Have a look at the document below:
