Hi All,
I need help connecting two 2960CX Series switches with SFP (GLC-BX10-U) modules using LC-LC UPC cable but not successful. The connectivity required is L2 as a trunk interface.
Appreciate your support,
Thanks,
Ahmed

Hello @ahmed.alghawas ,
you need a different type of SFP on one side.
look at the following
This special type of SFP are made to work on a single fiber and onde side transmits at 1310 nm and receives at 1490 nm the other side must do the opposite.
the other side must be of type final D
if you have two fibers avaiable you can use more conventional SFP, if you have only one you need two SFPs of different types.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Thank you!
Yes, I was using GLC-BX-U on both sides which is incorrect.

Hi,
Looking at the Cisco transceiver matrix document, it appears that "GLC-BX10-U" is not supported but "GLC-BX-U" is.

Thanks for your input bro.
GLC-BX10-U is same as GLC-BX-U (10km).
