hii
please i need your help
i have two sites(HQ and Branch) i want to do voice recording at HQ and am using MiaRec software
the problem is what kind of tunnel that will pull/allow the voice packets from branch to HQ for recording
all the recording has to be done at HQ
WHAT TYPE OF TUNNEL I HAVE TO CONFIGURE TO ALLOW VOICE VLAN/PACKETS TO PASS BETWEEN THE TWO POINTS?
OR
you can advice any other method that will help me to do this remote call recording
the switches that am using are ws c-2960s
the routers at branch is 2901
at HQ is 45100

It was not clear in your original post that RSPAN was part of your requirements. The alternatives suggested by
Johnnatan are tunneling protocols based on routed layer 3. And as such they would be able to forward the voice traffic. But RSPAN requires that the VLAN be extended and as such these alternatives would not work for you. The alternative that you should probably look into is ERSPAN. You can start with this link to find information about it.
You might also look into L2TPv3 as an alternative to extend the VLAN and perhaps to get RSPAN to work.

Thanks for using our forum
Hi Victoria, my name is Johnnatan and I am part of the Small business Support community.
If this application use Multicast, you should consider:
GRE / IPsec
VTI
DVTI
DMVPN
FlexVPN.
If not, you could consider a simple IPsec tunnel such a L2L for instance.
I hope you find this answer useful,
