Two pairs of c9500 (stackwise) can't run Portchannel

mackermann

Level 1

Hello @ all,

I have problems to get a Port-channel up an running with two stackwise pair of c9500.
Always i get the message.

Normaly it is esay-peasy to create portchannels, I do not know what is wrong.

I changed QSFP, LWL patch-field and patch-kabel but nothing helps

It would be nice if someone would look at the configuration. Maybe I dis something wrong somewhere??

For help I would be grateful

Regards Michael

Hello together,

I don't know what the problem was.
I cleared all configuration on each switch,
checked all components the GPic's and optical fiber, pach cords and so on.
All was OK!
Then I reconfig the switches and all was OK

Many thanks at all participations

Michael

Stackwise virtual' are this Port Channel use as SVL?

mackermann

No.

The port-channel should only be used to connect the two pairs between two buildings.

Always include the firmware of the switch because, most of the time, that is where the problem begins.

Sorry

I changed the QSFP Port  Hu1/0/49,Hu1/0/51 to SFP+ Port Twe1/0/1 and Twe2/0/1 on both sides.

And the port-channel is up and running with 10G ! I have no 25G GPics

Why it did not work on the QSFP Ports??

Can I know excat SW Number

Let's do something quirky.

Please change the PortChannel flavour from LACP to just "mode on" on both sides.  Let us see what the error message(s) kicks up.
