Hello,
what do you get with:
switch: dir ?
I check the image name, c2960c405ex-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE5.bin, it is a valid file. It requires 128/64 DRAM/Flash, make sure your switch has that amount free.

k9-mz.150-2.SE5.bin"
- Check or verify correct location of the bin file , possibly the path specified is wrong, then boot manually , i and provide correct path to image.

I can't seem to be able to view the flash dir, when I type dir flash: it won't show the files (say's unable) but there are 6 files in there.

- Provide exact error for dir flash: command , and or try fsck flash: (include double column at end of this command)

Is there a USB port (Type A) present?

I put this thing down for a couple weeks while I went on vacation and just hooked it back up this morning and it booted up and worked fine, I was able to factory reset it and good to go. not sure what the heck kind of hiccup that was but it's working fine now, thanks for the replies. I appreciate it.
