Unable to ping ISP router fron Different vlan

Hi all ,

Need you help .

My Scenario is

ISA router 192.168.1.1======= L3 SWITCH ==========PC 192.168.2.100

INT VLAN 193 = 192.168.1.254/24

INT VLAN 192 = 192.168.2.254/24

- - router connected to switchport 0/13 mapped with vlan 193

-- PC connected to Switchport 0/1 mapped with vlan 192

Default route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1

ping results :

switch to router ---OK

vlan 192 to router --- NO

PC to router --- NO

Ip routing is enabled

Please advice why i am not able to ping router IP from vlan 192 and my PC while i can ping int vlan 193

router is ISP router and i dont have Access to it.

Hi,

The router does not know about the 192.168.2.0/24 network. You need a route on the router for the 192.168.2.0/24 network e.g. ip route 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.254

Remember in routing you have to consider the return route as well
