Unable to ping management IP of Cisco 3750X

Hi All,

I'm having problems with my Cisco 3750X stack switch. A Cisco IPS module is connected to it and whenever it changes its default gateway point to the management IP of the Cisco 3750X stack, it could not ping its gateway even though its directly connected to it. Does Cisco 3750X have any issue with ICMP? i tried to back read some discussions here but could not seem to find one.

Are you refering to the out of band managment port on the 3750x or in-band managment?

Can you post the config?

Hi Reza,

i'm not familiar with the out-of-band or in-band management, but i think this is in band as there is no VRF configured on the device.

On the config, which part of the configuration would you like to take a look at? we are very strict when it comes to showing the config of our devices. Appreciate it if you could just indicate what you need to look at? do you need the software version as well?
