Hello,
I am using a switch of that series since several years. There have been some updates in the meantime. The most recent one is from that month.
But: the webinterface still remains unchanged in that unfinished state. See attached pic.
Does no developer takes care of that? I update the switch always with .tar file (IOS and web UI).

- If you consider that an important business requirement then you must raise a TAC case ,
and or contact psirt@cisco.com (being the Product Security Incident Response Team)
And then hope that the highlighted stuff works too (smile!)

- Could you try to add the picture again , because there is no attachment,

Ohh, forgotten. Thanks for your hint.

- If you refer to the top that is a bug similar to : https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvo35537
You could check if the workaround can work , it is not too important however ,

Hello Marce,
thanks a lot. Could you guide me to change that setting? Is it reachable through the WebGUI?

- You can't change it ; as stated it's a bug ; look at the Workaround: in the bug report ; I doubt this will work in this case
Also if upgrades have been done , then clear the browser cache and or verify the problem with another browser (too),

Hello Marce,
thanks for your reply. Browserversion or -supplier or clearing cache does not change something.
Do you have information where to "Change "service timestamps log uptime" to "service timestamps log datetime"?

- Those commands must be added in the running configuration of the switch as in :
switch # conf t
no service timestamps log uptime (corrected!)
service timestamps log datetime
end
switch # write mem

Hello,
thanks for your help.
I have entered the commands successfully and have rebooted the switch after a "write mem". The commands have been accepted without messages.
Unfortunately there is no change at the web-UI.
Seems that the workaround is not applicable to my switch?

CISCO_SWITCH01#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
CISCO_SWITCH01(config)#no service timestamps log uptime
CISCO_SWITCH01(config)#service timestamps log datetime
CISCO_SWITCH01(config)#end
CISCO_SWITCH01#write mem
Building configuration...
[OK]
CISCO_SWITCH01#

- What I expected a bit , as stated if using the latest software does not help , I would categorize it
as cosmetic and not too important ,

Yes, thanks.
From Cisco I expect much more. For example because of that bug it is not possible to log off from the webUI in a correct way. You can only close the browser. That is a security risk.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I have sent that issue to the psirt. 2 years is too much for that. Closing browser window without closing the session is not what one should expect from cisco.
