%Unknown DHCP problem.. No allocation possible

Hi all,

I have two routers connected back to back with their Gig interface. One router is configured as a DHCP Server ans the other Router as DHCP client. The client has "ip address dhcp" configured on the gig interface that is connected to the server.

However, the client does not receive and ip address from the Server though the server is sending the IP from its pool.

The server logs:

000297: May 11 13:54:31.903 PCTime: DHCPD: Sending DHCPOFFER to client 0100.135f

.0c63.ad (10.10.10.2).

000298: May 11 13:54:31.903 PCTime: DHCPD: broadcasting BOOTREPLY to client 0013

The Client logs

%Unknown DHCP problem.. No allocation possible

Any suggestions what is the problem here?

Did you try putting "ip helper address" on the SVI?
