Good day all,
I have a switch with no IOS, nothing in any directories. When trying to copy c3560cx-universalk0-mz.152-7.E1.bin from the usb to flash it comes back with :unknown error. Should i run a format next?
After pressing return after copying the file name, i get this:

- Some things to verify and or try 1) Issue show logging on the switch after the copy attempt is tried, check if you can find additional info's 2) Verify the md5sum of the bin file (on the switch itself) 3) Try to copy it from the usb to an external repository with tftp or scp (e.g.)

Instead of copy from USB to Flash first try boot from USB see if that works ? (make sure copy all the boot logs and post here ?)

once it boot,
check dir flash:

Your switch model is 3650X and you have Image in the flash 3750 ?

Once you boot from USBFLASH with image c3560cx-universalk9-mz.152-7.E1.bin
fsck flash: This checks the filesystem and recovers it
format flash: This reformats the flash
then copy the image from USB to Flash, also change the boot variable to the correct image and reload the device.
