UP LINK issue

Cisco 3750 X 12 se model SFP interface is not comming up, but neighbour switch interface status up/up

We tried change SFP and patch cable and port but output remains the same , can you please suggest

what is neighbour switch model ?

what SFP module used ? what patch cables used ?

How far the switch to switch ?

can you post relevant config here :

show run interface x/x

show interface x/x

what  IOS code running ?

one side up/up means this looks like loop in the path ? (again as suggested once post show interface information we can guide better)

One of the two strand is broken.  Take a visible fault locator to confirm.

We checked and replaced hardware (SFP and patch cable), but that doesn't help.

Uplink switch end Fiber SFP ports, but not able to change Duplex or speed.

Device up time is 5 years. Can you please suggest , if you have any reference documet pls share me

Let me repeat what I said before:  Take a visible fault locator to confirm.

those models are notorious for that issue after extended uptime, only solution could be to reboot.
