Update 3850 from 16.06.07 to 16.12.8

I'd like to update my ws-c3850-12xs from version 16.06.07 to 16.12.8. Do I need to follow an update path of different versions  or can I simply upgrade to 16.12.8?

Yes.  I use the above logging discriminator to stop useless spams from filling up the logs.

One last question, the 3850 stack I currently have in version 16.6.5 in Bundle Mode

Is it possible to go directly from 16.6.5 in Bundle Mode to 16.12.12 Bundle Mode?

Yes.  There will be a micro-code upgrade and this will take about 14 minutes to boot up.

Have you been able to test or do you have any information if with version 16.12.12 it is still advisable to reboot the switches every 6 months?

I would still recommend rebooting every 6 to 12 months but cold-reboot (remove the power supplies and wait for 30 seconds) is highly recommended.
