Hi Arun,

AFAIK 1751 default flash size is 32MB and is not upgradable so just check your flash again confirming what is the flash memory which exist in your router.

Ankur

I am 100% sure that my Router`s Flash is 16 MB.

Hello,

I think the earlier models of the 1751 have 16MB default flash memory, which is not upgradable. The 1750 has a mini flash card slot for an additional 16MB mini flash card, but the 1751 does not, unfortunately.

Regards,

GNT

My Cisco1751 has 16 MB Flash.

Show Version command verfies it:

Hi Chopra,

It is not upgradable. Cisco1751 with 16mb of flash can be known as Cisco1751-LOWMEM chassis. Cisco do not have part id of 16F or 32F for Cisco1700 series. So you would not be able to get a flash to upgrade it. Cisco1700 series have its flash soldered on the board and do not have any extra slot for Flash to be upgrade.

Below attached image shows the soldered flash onboard.

Hope I answer your question.

Hi ericnq1983

I have a question, there is a way to identify those "LOWMEM" routers without opening them or using the command line tool "sh ver"?

Thank you very much!

(Also sorry for my poor english)
