My Questions are:

1. Current ROM: 15.0(1r)SG14 so Do I need to upgrade the ROM also?

2. What is best way to upgrade the this IOS?

3. What is Downtime effect? Are both systems will reboot at the same time or will reboot the primary first and secondary will letter?

4. Any other things do I need to take care?

Thanks in advance.

The Release Notes answers these questions.

Hi,
Apart from the question 1, I didn't find the answer in the release note.

1. Copy the IOS into the flash/bootflash;
2. Change the boot variable string to point to the new IOS file;
3. Ensure the config-registry value is correct;
4. Save the config; and
5. Reboot

Will it reboot both devices?

Hi,

If you want to reboot both chassis at the same time (it is good idea) after you did what Leo said, the command is:
