Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade a ME-3400 switch from me340x-metroaccessk9-mz.122-50.SE1.bin to me340x-metroipaccessk9-tar.122-60.EZ9.tar

I'm having issues with this process, I've tried archive download-sw tftp://X.X.X.X/me340x-metroipaccessk9-tar.122-60.ez9.tar, I've also tried

archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://X.X.X.X/me340x-metroipaccessk9-tar.122-60.ez9.tar, both are giving me the following output:

Loading me340x-metroipaccessk9-tar.122-60.EZ9.tar from 10.0.17.77 (via Vlan1): !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is as far as the process goes, the terminal just stops there and I can't do anything except reload the switch.  When I reload, the dir show a file named update which appears to have the image in it but I know something is wrong here.  If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

This is "normal".  Just leave the process alone for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Delete the "update" folder using the command "delete /f /r flash:update".

Leo,

Thanks for the response, I actually went to lunch and when I came back I did a sho boot and it verified the new IOS, so i reloaded and all my features from the new IOS were there.  I guess I just needed a little more patience.  Thanks again

Steve
