Upgrade Nexus 9000 in vPC

I will be upgrading our two Nexus 9000 running as vPC from nx-os 9.2.4 to 9.3.8.

Based on documentation I know that I need to do them individually, but looking for sanity checks.

Plan to copy the image to the devices and check the MD5 hashes prior to the maintenance window.

Staring with the primary, "show install all impact nxos bootflash:nxos.9.3.8.bin"

Then install by "install all nxos bootflash:nxos.9.3.8.bin"

In my situation I believe I can't use the [non-disruptive].

Am I missing any steps?

Hello Graham

My recommendation for  you is always use Install command, however you need be aware about VPC Role Priority, VPC peer-switch, peer-gateway commands (thats depends based you Network Topology) and finally always double check STP configuration ans Sticky-bit.

warm regards
