Upgrading 1841 ISR to 4321 ISR Config Question

Hello,

I would like to copy my 1841 ISR config to my new 4321 ISR. We still use the VPN client 5.x for remote users.

Can I simply save my Config on 1841 and copy/tftp it to 4321? Does anybody see any issues with that. Of course the ports need to be identical..but besides that any caveats?

Hi,

In addition to the port changes, there will most likely be other items that will need to be changed as you add the config since 1841 is a few years old..  I would recommend doing it section by section using copy and paste and correcting errors as you go vs loading it all at one time.
