Hello,
We have a 6500 with a WS-SUP720-3B running Advanced IP Services (S733AIK9M-12233SXH). Everything is under warranty and service contract. We want to upgrade to the new VS-S720-10G-3C and our question is: do we need to buy again the Advanced IP Services license (SV33AIK9-12233SXJ) for the new sup ($10.000!)?
Thanks,
JL

Hi,
Please contact cisco licensing team or your Account manager so that they can help you if there are any options to upgrade or downgrade licenses.
Under Warranty, you can raise a TAC case but only for hardware support.
Cheers
