Hello,

I have a Cisco 3850 switch. After upgrading its IOS from version 03.07.05E to 16.12.13, the device no longer recognizes the usbflash:

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

  - @j.zangeneh  Execute the command dir , from CLI (enable/privileged mode) ; look or similar name and or check for a possible name  change,

Eject the USB flash drive from the switch, wait for 5 seconds and plug it back in.

Post the complete output to the command "sh log".  If there is anything wrong with the USB flash drive, it will show up in the switch logs.

  - @j.zangeneh     The usbflash: may only be seen if an usb is inserted behavior change, check output from
show usb-devices summary  (with an usb inserted)
Pay attention to USB formatting , Use FAT16 (aka FAT), not FAT32 or NTFS
The USB must be MBR-partitioned, not GPT.
Limit partition size to ≤4GB, even if the stick is larger.
Not all USB drives work with Cisco devices.  Try using another USB from a different vendor

And check logs when inserting an USB , despite the change in version, these topics could be 'stressed' by the upgrade                     and or become more relevant (e.g.)

The USB drive is corrupt, format it again or use another one ,

Do these kernel errors appear if there is no USB flash drive?

When I connect the flash to the switch, this log appears on the switch.”

Ok, so the USB flash drive is not recognized by the switch.  Find another model or variety.

this show some error, try format and test it , or easy get another one use it.
