I need some help here. I'm in the educationm field in the UK and have set up a project that uses PDAs to access information via a GPS network. It utilises OS mapping, video and text to supply info to the PDAs in the field. To compliment this system I need to enable the PDAs to communicate with a 'central' data collector such as a laptop running Synchroneyes software. The above airbus was recommended to me but I have difficulty in setting it up. It isn't shipped with an IP address and needs a DCHP system to run it. Currently, it isn't recognised on connecting it to a PC neither can it be recognised with telnet or similar software. Used ISO but that doesn't work either.
