we have configured our cisco router as DNS server. we have public IP on inside interface and on outside interface there is private IP(provided by ISP). on a particular system within our LAN we have configured DNS server as router. when a DNS query from this system reaches the router packets originate from the router outside interface we want to configure such that all DNS packets originate from inside interface(public IP). Please let us know how to accomplish this.
thanks

if you have enough public IP addresses, divide your IPs: some for eth and some few for outside interface. the private ip in your outside interface configure it as secondary.
so DNS requests will be initiated with IP source a public IP.
try it and let me know.
