Hi
I would like to if users in a single vlan can be distinguished.
For ex. some need internet and some dont.I have tried with access list but like to know if there are any other possiblities.

You want that some users in the same vlan should not be able to talk to each other but should be able to access the internet etc.
If that is the case you should consider using PVLANS. This would require you to create a new vlans but the subnet remains the same.
Alternatively you may want to VACL as well.

You can try configuring VACL ie VLAN Access list.
