When i created my vlan i used the command below:
int vlan2
ip address 192.168.3.1 255.255.255.0
I did not use the command below:
vlan 2
Is it too late to use the vlan 2 command or should i delete the vlans and recreate them
Any help will be greatly appreciated?
Thanks,
Lake

Lakeram,
What you created was the Interface VLAN, not the VLAN itsefl. The Interface VLAN allows you to route traffic to the hosts on that VLAN.
Its not too late to create the actual VLAN and start assigning ports to it.
I hope this answers your questions.
