Hi...I need to know one thing in vlans.i have some any departments.so I am going to create multiple vlans.if I do more vlans there is a load impact or not.is it good sloution or not

Hi

The current swiches can support 4000+ vlans, you will not generate any impact on your layer 2 network, also keep your spanning tree configured properly. And actually that is a very good idea, a best practice is create vlans for each department in this way you can protect one from others. 

Are you configuring the gateways on a router or layer 3 switch?
