hey nomthandazomqamu,
The purpose of VLANs is to separate broadcast domains. The only way to allow enable communication between hosts on different broadcast domains is some sort of L3 routing. The simplest way to allow for communication between VLANs is the router on a stick method:

Hi,
That will depend on your set up, if you have a layer 3 switch then you can configure virtual interfaces to route traffic between the different vlans, or if you have a router which will be doing the routing between vlans then the router on a stick option could work.
