Hi Palani, I am having trouble locating the literature for 'clear and reset the nonvolatile random-access memory (NVRAM) in the Catalyst 4500-X and ISR 4551-X. Can you help?

Sure thing. To clear/reset NVRAM contents, you can use write erase, followed by reload (NOTE: When prompted to save config, please choose No and proceed to reload) OR format nvram:
