VRRP configuration

Hi everyone,

I have two switches. one 9200 and another 9300.

I want to configure VRP between them, but the vrrp commands do not appear on vlan interface configuration.

I've checked and I need to execute a command "fhrp version vrrp v3" first into the devices.

I'd like to know if this command has any impact in my environment?

Today I have some vlans working in production.

First, I would like to test the VRRP in a separated vlan and after this, I will move my productions vlans to VRRP.

Thanks all.

If you do not have any VRRPv2 config, you ok to do that command :

When VRRPv3 is in use, VRRPv2 is unavailable. For VRRPv3 to be configurable, the fhrp version vrrp v3 command must be used in global configuration mode

fhrp version vrrp v3 <<-
