VSS dual-active active detection ePAgP

Hello,

I have two VSS systems, core_01 and core_02, connected with a port channel. Can I use this port channel with epagp for dual active detection of both systems?

Something like this:

core_01:
interface port-channel 20
switchport
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk

switch virtual domain 10
dual-active detection pagp
dual-active trust channel-group 20

core_02:
interface port-channel 20
switchport
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk

switch virtual domain 12
dual-active detection pagp
dual-active trust channel-group 20

Hello,

I have never used a second set of VSS switches for dual active detection but I think it should work as its just a trunk port. On the other hand, you can use fast hello for each set and not worry about ePAgP at all if your IOS supports it.  Fast hello is so much easier.
