Guys , m having a problem when upgrading the IOS on my VSS
i am using the following page for instructions.
the problem is that , after putting the 'boot system flash''clearing it and setting up confreg ; the switches still bootup in previous image.
Previous version = Version 15.1(2)SY2
I want to upgrade to = 15.1(2)SY4a
I have also tried ISSU and this thing comes up : Current running image does not match bootvar on Active unit
my bootvar is :
sh bootvar

Can you please post the below command:
show run | be boot
show run | in boot

try removing this:-
no boot system flash s2t54-boot-mz.SPA.151-2.SY4a.bin
save the config and reboot.
I am assuming that the bootdisk & image which is been downloaded is good.(Verfiy the image once if you can).

doesnot make any difference
i also checked the image using the 'verify' command , and all had gone good
