Good afternoon everyone, I have the following problem:
I bought 05 SW 2960XR, new, have come with IOS 15.2 (2) E6, have joined via via Cisco C2960X-Stack = modules.
Everything has worked well, until I wanted to define my VTP. When I change the VTP mode from Server to Client, the LOG, shows me the following error messages:

When I enter the command "sh vtp status" it also shows me an error:

I have reviewed different POST in internet as well as in "supportforums" but there they talk about old versions of IOS and of recommendation that already applies them and they do not work for my case.

Please, anyone had any idea what may be happening.
I would appreciate your help.

Hello,

the VTP version could be the problem, make sure it is the same on all switches. Set it to the highest version accepted by all switches (probably 2 or 3)...

Also, since your output states that the MD5 digest is wrong, make sure you use the same VTP domain password on all switches...

Hi

Try server mode to Transparent mode then to client, and set up the VTP version 2.

We could discard a bug because it is a recent IOS.
