WAN Serial utilization exceeded 90%

Hi,

Some times We are getting alerts for WAN(mpls) Serial utilization exceeded 90% and it will come down after 15-20 mins.

not able to find , why it is happening , Is CPU over utilization can cause increasing the WAN serial utilization ?

Is there any way to find why the WAN serial interface is over utilizing for a short time?

Could any one help on this ?

Are you sure it's not normal traffic? Do you see input traffic increase on this router at the same time? Are you graphing interface traffic?

I am not sure this is normal traffic  because I could not check the router at the time of high utilization.

What do u mean by graphing interface traffic ?
