Want to configure 3850 L3 switch in redudant mode

Dear All,

I have 2 Layer3 3850 cisco switches. I want to create 6 vlan on this. but i want to use as auto redundancy mode.

how to configure the same. I dont have any spare fibre cable so if first switch down then i manually transfer all cable to other switch and it can be work.

means auto transfer all configuration form primary switch to secondary switch.

please help me ..

Hi,

Since your switches are 3850s, you can stack them together and use one uplink from one switch and another uplink from the other switch.  This way, the config for both switches are the same, the master switch will sync the config to the member and you have switch redundancy in case one of them fails.
