WAP551 connecting to access switches 2960x(non poe) showing organe light

Hi

in our one project they are two switches and the topology is core to access switches 

And in core switches Vtp  transparent mode and access switches also Vtp  transparent mode

when WAP551 is connected to access switches the WAP551  is showing organe light but when connected to core switch WAP551  is showing Green Light.

these Flat network all traffic in Vlan 1

in core swith the Vlan Access configuration  for APas shown below

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/6
description ****Connected To ***********
switchport mode trunk
spanning-tree guard root

in Acess Switche the Vlan Access configuration For AP

interface FastEthernet0/3
switchport mode access

Hi,

Why is the configuration different?

The core connected to WAP551 is configured as trunk, but the access switch as access port.

If you really want to connect it to an access switch, than configure it as trunk (the same as the core) and test, but I think it is better to keep it at the core.
