Hello,
I have the problem with a switch that it does not allow me access via the
web interface. It says the following when logging in via the web interface:
Wrong credentials. Please login again.
But I have created a user via the cli and this also has admin rights.
What can I do so that I can get access to the switch via the web interface?
Here is the information about the switch:
- Cisco WS-C3650-48PD
- Cisco IOS XE software version 16.12.07
Hope you can help me quickly so that I can get access to this switch again
via the web interface.
Best regards

make sure you have below config and user add admin with priv 15
switch(config)# ip http server switch(config)# ip http secure-server switch(config)# ip http authentication local
still not working post show run, show version

As I read the post my first reaction, like @balaji.bandi , was to verify that the gui was enabled. But as I think about the error message generated "Wrong credentials. Please login again" I believe that this indicates that the gui is enabled and that the issue is about authentication. Using what you configured for user name and password are you able to telnet/ssh into the switch? That would verify that the name and password are correctly configured, and would indicate that there is some issue about authentication for the gui. To go further it would be very helpful if you could post the current running config (disguising sensitive information such as Public IP or passwords).
