What do i need to do first when i replace a line card WS-X6748-SFP on a 6509 that is operating in VSS

I urgently want to replace a faulty line card WS-X6748-SFP with a new one. The switch concern is a 5609-V-E operating in Virtual Switching System mode.

How long do you suggest the down time will be?

Since the module is hot swapable, when you insert the new module, it goes through the diagnostic test and bring the module on line.  I would say about 5 minutes of down time max, if you do not turn off the chassis.
